Lately I have had several home sellers who wish to refinance their homes but are being told that their homes can not be listed for sale. The time frame that the homes need to be on the market has varied between 3 to 6 months. Needless to say this has been disheartning to many homeowners that need to sell. I have made a ton of calls and so far have 2 companies that will refinance homes while they are on the market. If you wind up with clients in this predicament, have them check with Countrywide and Met life are both willing to refinance mortgages for homeowners that want to continue marketing their properties.
