I have a group of non realtor friends that really like our new pay it forward club. I think they are staying awake nights thinking of things that we can do.  It is turning out to be our favorite challenge to see who comes up with the best ideas. 

We live in a small rural community that is really good about pulling together with fund raisers for a big tragedy that befalls one of our citizens, but very little is ever available for the every day problems that people face. This week we were having a community potluck and invited the neighborhood. Each participant put in money in the pot to be put towards an electric bill payment for someone ready to be turned off. We got to meet our neighbors, eat some really good food and wound up being able to help 5 families in need of a little extra help this month.
