{"id":161,"date":"2010-03-19T21:44:02","date_gmt":"2010-03-19T21:44:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lakeandhomes.com\/blog\/2010\/03\/back-from-tucson-arizona\/"},"modified":"2010-03-19T21:44:02","modified_gmt":"2010-03-19T21:44:02","slug":"back-from-tucson-arizona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lakeandhomes.com\/blog\/back-from-tucson-arizona\/","title":{"rendered":"Back from Tucson Arizona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi one and all, I got back a last week from the gem and mineral shows in Tucson Arizona.&nbsp; One night before we left a friend of mine who is an electrical engineer was at my house.&nbsp; I was having problems with my cabbing unit.&nbsp; About a week later he called me up and said I just designed a new cabber, come over and try it out.&nbsp; For those of you that have ever done lapidary work, this cabber compares with a Diamond Pacific Titan.&nbsp; It is a very versatile unit and will allow you to use 4 inch wheels, 6 inch wheels, 8 inch wheels or expandable drums, and carving wheels.&nbsp; So this past weeken, we&nbsp; did a demonstration for 3 days at the Spokane Rock Rollers gem show in Spokane Washington.&nbsp; We were demonstrating how to cut a cabochon on the new deal cabber&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemstonecabber.com\/\">http:\/\/www.gemstonecabber.com<\/a> designed by my friend.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We have been invited to do another demonstration at the&nbsp; gem and mineral show coming up in Coeur d&#8217; alene idaho&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>June 5-6&#8211;COEUR d&#8217;ALENE, IDAHO: Show; North Idaho Mineral Club; Kootenai Co.
